- I am from Cali, Colombia. I studied Business Administration at ICESI university and graduated in 1997. I travelled to Canada, where I studied English for a year. I became an English teacher in 1998, when I began working at ELS Language Centers. Then, I worked at San Buenaventura University for a semester, and travelled to USA to try to find a job as an administrator, but I decided to come back to my country and continue developing my vocation as a teacher. I have also worked at Autónoma University and Colegio Odontológico Colombiano as an English teacher. I studied a Specialization on translation at Univalle and I am currently taking my Master on Education. I´ve been working at San Buenaventura University since 2005, as a fulltime professor. Thanks to my experience in the Foreign Languages Department, I have developed an interest in topics related to CALL, intercultural aspects in language teaching and didactics.
